RJA Activities:

  • Rehearsals including, stage combat, scansion and line interpretation, character development, staging.
  • Bi-weekly classes taught by members of the Kingsmen Festival company including classes in:
    • Scansion of Shakespeare’s language
    • Stage Combat
    • Improvisation
    • Voice and Movement for Shakespearean acting
    • Advanced acting techniques
  • Participation in Festival Activities
  • Nightly performances of original work for kids and adults in “Will’s Corner”
  • Audition, rehearse and performance of Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part One
  • Support of Festival activities (ushering, stuffing programs, refreshment sales, fundraising)
  • Interaction with professional company members
  • COST OF THE PROGRAM - $300

(Some scholarship assistance is available)

The RJA classes/rehearsals begin June 18, 2013. Festival performance dates are weekends beginning June 28 through August 4. Audition time for Henry IV, Part One TBA. Conflicts will be considered in casting the RJA company.
