Applications for the Rhodes Junior Apprentice Program
for
Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival 2010
Students who are entering 9th through 12th grade in Fall 2010 or have just graduated may apply and audition to be part of the RJA company for the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival 2010.
RJA Activities:
- Bi-weekly classes taught by members of the Kingsmen Festival company including classes in:
- Scansion of Shakespeare’s language
- Stage Combat
- Improvisation
- Voice and Movement for Shakespearean acting
- Advanced acting techniques
- Festival participation
- Nightly performances of original work for kids and adults in “Will’s Corner”
- Support of Festival activities (ushering, stuffing programs, refreshment sales, fundraising)
- Interaction with professional company members
