2010 Workshops

Beginning Shakespeare

  • Ages 8 - 12

A beginning acting course and its application to Shakespeare. The session culminates in a presentation of scenes.

Acting Techniques

  • Ages 12 -16

A study of acting techniques including voice and movement, approaching a script, improv, and stage combat. The session culminates in a presentation of scene work.

Shakespeare in Production

  • Ages 13 - 18

  • 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Cost: $400, early bird registration $360 before April 16, 2010

This intensive four-week training/rehearsal workshop will provide advanced students with the opportunity not only to hone their acting skills, but to perform an adaption of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream on the Kingsmen Festival stage.

Musical Theatre

This specialized camp will focus on all aspects of musical theatre including vocal technique, auditioning, and performance. The session will culminate in a performance of selections from a well-known musical.
