Shakespeare Educational Tour (SET)

The 45 minute, highly interactive workshops include:

• the poetry of Shakespeare
• the history of the English Renaissance
• vocabulary, as well as
• an analysis of one of three plays:
• Midsummer Night’s Dream
• The Tempest
• 12th Night

The workshops also prepare students for the afternoon performance of a 55 minute version of a Shakespearean Comedy. Past performances have included:

• A Midsemester Prom Night’s Dream; a musical re-telling of Midsummer Night’s Dream.
• The Player’s Tempest; a highly imaginative and high energy version of The Tempest.
• An adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy; 12th Night.
